Home Inspector
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time licensed home inspector to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented person who is a great communicator, team player, and has the ability to learn the technical aspects of home inspections. While having industry experience is beneficial, it does not limit the scope of hiring for this position.
- This position also requires someone who is comfortable with growth and change and is willing to learn and adapt to an ever-changing industry that continually requires higher levels of competencies. An attention to detail is critical as is the ability to communicate very well both in writing and verbally. Punctuality is a must.
- Candidate should be able handle the more difficult and delicate matters with finesse, professionalism, and expertise and holds a high degree of self-accountability.
- Inspectors can travel from their residence to the assigned inspections. The inspectors are not required to visit the office daily and can complete their inspection reports from the convenience of their home.
- We provide training to our inspectors to ensure that they have the level of competency needed to perform any inspection that is assigned. ALHUMD Inspections provides service to clients throughout Maryland, and Washington D.C
Primary Objectives:
- Produce consistent services, both written and verbal
- Build trust with clients and real estate agents using a calm demeanor, consistency, honesty, thoroughness and communication
- Communicate as a team player within the organization regarding opportunities of improving service, value and product offerings
Regular Work Activities:
- Perform residential home inspections according to the Company Guidelines,
- Attend ongoing in-house and field training
- Prepare Home Inspection Report with Comments, Observations, and Repair Recommendations,
- Perform Assigned Training for Expanding Knowledge of Home Inspection Services for Clients and Agents. Role-play training.
Compensation:
- Commission + Bonus
- Competitive Compensation Rates based on Qualifications, Experience, and Performance
- Inspectors with additional certifications (infrared, RADON, mold, new construction etc.) can earn extra income
- Inspectors who meet or exceed minimum benchmarks may also earn a year-end bonus.

Requirements:
- Home Inspector License in State of Residence: Maryland,
- Ability to Prioritize Effectively,
- Meticulous Attention to Detail,
- Ability to Explain Both Verbally and in Writing the Observations and Defects Found,Good Knowledge of the Principles of Home Systems,
- Comprehensive Knowledge of the Functionality of Mechanical and Electrical Systems,
- Ability to be Flexible and Adaptable,
- Driver’s License (Preferred)

Salary: $66,502.20 – $74,371.25 per year
